Home Modification Priority Planner
Sort through the home changes your family is considering and build a practical planning order based on the rooms, routes, and everyday tasks that are becoming harder now.
You do not need to remodel everything at once.
Tell the Planner what is becoming difficult in the home. It will organize your answers into a practical project sequence and point you toward the Caregiver Compass™ resources that fit those areas.
About this Priority Planner
Caregiver Compass™ Home Modification Priority Planner is an educational and organizational tool. It is designed to help families sort home modification ideas into a manageable planning order. It is not a medical evaluation, clinical fall-risk assessment, occupational or physical therapy assessment, engineering or construction evaluation, accessibility certification, building-code review, project-cost estimate, or determination that a home is safe.
National Institute on Aging guidance recommends reviewing the home room by room, correcting obvious dangers such as loose railings and poor lighting first, and reevaluating as needs change. AARP’s HomeFit resources similarly encourage families to consider how the home fits current and future needs.
